It’s that time of year again! For the past three years Valley Medical and Wellness, a premier chronic pain and addiction medicine program with locations in Burnsville, Minneapolis, and Woodbury, has been a proud sponsor of NPH (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos) USA and their annual Cinco de Mayo 5K, which will be hosted “virtually” this year from April 24th to May 2nd.
Every day, children of Latin America and the Caribbean are affected by the global poverty crisis and are in need of assistance for their education, healthcare, shelter, and food. The addiction specialists and chronic pain specialists at Valley Medical and Wellness support the NPH 5K, held annually each spring, to raise awareness of children being affected by poverty and to help build a support network in those communities.
This year, all funds raised from the Cinco de Mayo 5K will be redirected to their Emergency Campaign in light of the global COVID-19 crisis.
