About David
David Mc Gehee has been a physician assistant since 2017, after earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. His career in medicine began in vascular surgery at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, where he worked from 2018-2021. Since then, he has dedicated his practice to addiction medicine at Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, driven by a commitment to assisting individuals seeking freedom from addiction and supporting them on their recovery journeys. Before pursuing a medical career, David served in the United States Navy as a Persian-Farsi interpreter for 6 years. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing piano, studying language, juggling, and spending time with his 2 cats, Mauricio and Montserrat.

We accept most major insurance company health plans, as well as most Medicaid and Medicare Plans. We are a member of the VA Community Care Network and take TRICARE for active and retired military personnel and their families.
